Constitution.
The Constitution
is America’s plan for government.

Constitution is amendable.
Amendable
means able to be changed.

Balances – way to make sure no branch of the government has too much power
Bill of
Rights – First 10 Amendments to the Constitution.
If the 2nd
Amendment didn’t exist, people might not be able to own guns.
If a person
does not want to testify against himself in court, he or she can plead the 5th.
The first
Republican President was Abraham Lincoln.
